That is shared datastores.
Finally, I opened case.
Thank you for your reply !
Re: vsphere replication 6.5.1.4 won't correctly install
Hi
1. Please ensure vCenter managed server address is set --> Configure Runtime Settings for vCenter Server
2. Ensure vSphere replication is deployed through vCenter web client(Flash)
I hope that helps

Vol 3 in my case is the efi partition? How find efi system partition
?

Repair the system partition
If the system partition has been corrupted, you can use BCDBoot to recreate the system partition files by using new copies of these files from the Windows partition.
- Boot your PC to a command line. For example, boot to the Windows installation disk and press Shift+F10, or boot to Windows PE (WinPE: Create USB Bootable drive).
- Use Diskpart to determine which drive letter contains your Windows partition and system partition (diskpart, list vol, exit).
- Optional: Format your system partition: format (drive letter of your system partition) /q
- Add a boot entry for your Windows partition: bcdboot D:\Windows
- Reboot the PC. Windows should appear.

No.
> I guess I'm assuming the host may be sleeping and causing it. You could try disabling the power nap options.
Possibly.
> One other thought. If you have a third-party power adapter, it may not be providing sufficient juice to power the machine and the VM at the same time - I ran into that recently, and watched the power slowly decline (fortunately I caught it in time, and changed to the apple power supply).
I have a Dell U3419W. My MacBook is powered via USB-C from my monitor.
Re: NSX-T web service
Hi,
If this is a brand new deployment then you should check that all the pre-requisites are in place and you do not conflict on them:
- Check that the appliance is able to reach the NTP Server.
- Check that you do not have any duplicate A or PTR records pointing to the IP of NSX-T.
- Login using ssh and run get services status and look for stopped services.
- Login into root and look for /var/log/syslog file to look for some errors.
Re: VMware Sphere 5.0 ERROR Please Help
Version of Fusion?
Version of MacOS?
Re: Migrating Fusion to new Macbook Pro
Your version of Fusion is not supported on MacOS later than Sierra: VMware Knowledge Base
Not saying it won’t work (I don’t know), but you might consider an upgrade.
Re: Create vm from vmdk what settings to choose
In my case give the command in cmd line
bcdboot C:\Windows

NSX-T 3.0 - Federation and Transport Zones
Hello folks,
I am trying to go over a simple NSX-T Stretched Networking configuration i have the next:
- One VLAN with a dedicated RTEP Pool for each region.
- Already configured NSX-T Locations.
- Edge VMs used for TEP and RTEP communication.
- Edge VMs have 3 interfaces (Same on both regions)
- vNIC1: Management portgroup (VLAN Tagged)
- vNIC2: Overlay portgroup (VLAN Tagged)
- vNIC3: VLAN Based (Trunk)
I can see that when you configure the RTEP for the first time it asks you to select the Host Switch and then to specify a VLAN, IP Pool, etc. From these requirements and knowing the limitations of NSX-T related to Transport Zones i cannot add a new Overlay Transport Zone and connect the RTEP there so i have the next doubts:
- How the RTEP communication is going to flow from the vNIC2 if it is connected to a VLAN tagged portgroup. Here i also thought about reconfiguring the Uplink Profile and specify the VLAN for Overlay so i can connect the interface to the Trunk Port but i guess it is going to be the as the RTEP will go into the same vNIC which is already tagged with Overlay VLAN.
- From the point above it makes me think. Does the RTEP configuration needs to go connected to an Overlay Transport Zone or it can be connected to a VLAN Transport Zone.
From those queries i think i can keep working on the configuration as i am getting confused on those topics.
Thanks in advance!
Re: NSX-T 3.0 - Federation and Transport Zones
UPDATE:
So after creating a new Uplink Profile, specifying the VLAN for Overlay and connecting the vNIC2 to a VDS Trunk Portgroup the RTEP connectivity started to flow and i can see that the Edges can reach the remote endpoints.
However i am still confused about the Transport Zone requirement because i can see that as part of the configuration it automatically created a new Transport Zone called (system-owned-rtep..) I do not know if it is okay for the RTEP to share the same N-VDS as the Overlay Transport Zone or the VLAN Transport Zone.

Re: is it possible to roll back config in velocloud edge
Yes this should be a roadmap feature...... my other concern is that your you received a response on this?.. Does Velocloud monitor this forum?
Re: SysPrep for deploying Windows 10 VM
No, you can run it from windows with or without AD joinSysprep (System Preparation) Overview | Microsoft Docs
Re: VMware Sphere 5.0 ERROR Please Help
Let me see if I understood correctly
You are running a Virtual ESXI instide a Mac using VMware fusion is that right?
Do you have some sort of firewall in the midle? Are you using a bridged network? Is IP and DNS resolution working fine?
Most of the times this error comes into play because port 902 is closed between esxi host and vCenter OR there is some issue with DNS resolution.
Hope that works.
Warm regars
Re: Re-attach distributed port groups to distributed switch after host rebuild
Hey 3CV, hope you are doing fine:
Try this:
1. Log in to vCenter, go to networks, and navigate to the vSwitch you are trying to add hosts.
2. Right click the vDS and click add or remove hosts.
3. Select the host (it might not apprear so you need to click new hosts) and edit vmk and VM networking
Hope that works
